About Us

We are the first and only company to offer Remote Therapeutic Monitoring of Gait parameters for physical therapists and other health professionals.

We are also the first to take our high precision, medical grade gait analysis and our unique Fall Risk analysis system outside of the research institutes and the universities and making them available and affordable to the Senior Centers around the world.  We believe this will be a major contribution to the wellness, health, and independence of the seniors and the general public.

Rover was developed by Dr. Hamid Najafi a Stanford Ph.D., a Silicon Valley long time entrepreneur,  who himself is a senior and who had personal traumatic experience with falls both with himself and his father.

Rover uses advanced, clinical-grade motion sensing and gait analysis algorithms tested at Stanford University, the Parkinson’s Institute, and the University of Calgary. Developed in collaboration between human motion analysis scientists, physical therapists, neurologists, and neuroscientists over the span of five years.

Dr. Stuart Katzman

Dr. Stuart Katzman has been a physical therapist for 34 years; entirely in out-patient orthopedic rehabilitation. , As an avid runner, Dr. Katzman has taken a particular interest in the treatment and prevention of lower quadrant injuries, working with subjects across the lifespan. Whether the youth athlete or the octogenarian pickleball player, or anyone in between, he has come to value and respect the variability of each individual’s mechanics, load tolerances and potential. Dr. Katzman attributes his clinical success to the optimization of lower quadrant mechanics; achieved by identification of inefficiencies followed by the neuro-motor and cognitive training to correct and eliminate them. Dr. Katzman is currently practicing at Evergreen Physical Therapy; a private practice he has operated in San Jose, CA, for the past 30 years.

Dr. Katzman received his baccalaureate in Physical Therapy from California State University Fresno and a post-professional clinical Doctorate, with an emphasis in manual therapy, from Evidence in Motion in 2013.
